Peterborough United Football Club have improved the facilities for disabled supporters at London Road by creating a 'drop off/pick up' point in three locations.

The three areas, which are located at Gate 22 (Family Stand), the London Road terrace and in between B Block and the away terrace, enable disabled personnel to be seated while their helper parks the vehicle.

Not only that, but the football club have increased the wheelchair disabled capacity in the lower tier of the Norwich and Peterborough Family Stand with a new area allowing five more wheelchair users to watch the action.

A club spokesman said: 'The club are always looking to improve our facilities and we are committed to making the stadium user friendly for all supporters. We have created a new disabled enclosure alongside our existing sheltered seating in the Norwich and Peterborough Family Stand and are confident that the new drop off/pick up points will assist supporters in getting into the ground safely and as trouble-free as possible.

These changes have been implemented for Saturday's Championship fixture with Queens Park Rangers and for the rest of the season.
